Maharashtra okays Karnataka vet's 'cologne trap' idea, tigress saved from death sentence (Video)

Cologne trap method using Calvin Klein has been explored for studying behavioural habits of jaguars and other cats abroad, but it is the first time ever that this method is being used on record, to attempt and solve the ongoing human/wildlife conflict in India. Maharastra government had awarded death sentence to Avni, the tigress, famously known as T1 had reportedly claimed over 13 lives in that region. But the government turned positive about this attempt only after MyNation's coverage.
