Lockup death? Man held for questioning dies in police station

A 45-year-old man brought to the station for questioning was found dead in the Maddur police station in Karnataka. Suspected as a case of lockup death, the victim has been identified as Murthy. He was brought to the station on charges of stealing a bike. His family was not informed despite the police locking him up for three days. It is also said that he was not give food in these three days. But the police are claiming that he hanged himself inside the police station claiming it is a case of suicide. But the relatives have alleged that it is a case of lock up death. Watch the disheartening video here.
