Leopard mauls 3-year-old boy to death in Karnataka

Ballari: In a shocking incident, a three-year-old child was dragged by a leopard in front of his house at Kampli taluk in Ballari. The child Venkataraju is the grandson of popular folklore artiste Burrakatha Eeramma. Venkataraju was playing in front of his house when the leopard jumped on him and dragged him, as the family saw it in horror. The leopard sucked blood from the body of the boy, left the body in the bushes and went away. Residents found the blood-soaked body under the bushes, after a long search.
