Kumaraswamy faces wrath of farmers demanding higher sugarcane MSP

Farmers assembled in large numbers Monday morning at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, purportedly to catch the attention of the Karnataka ministers to increase the minimum support price of sugarcane. Kumaraswamy turned up, promising to organise a meeting with sugar mill owners to address the issue at the earliest.
