Kumaraswamy’s controversial statement: Complaint filed with human rights commission

Bengaluru: A complaint has been filed with the the human rights commission and the director general of police, Karnataka, against chief minister HD Kumaraswamy with regard to his controversial statement against a woman farmer.

A complaint has been filed through email sent by Karnataka labourers welfare trust. Chief minister Kumaraswamy's question to farmer leader Jayashree asking her where was she sleeping all these four years, drew flak from farmers and opposition party BJP.

Kumaraswamy was speaking after farmers decided to lay siege to Vidhana Soudha. He was referring to Jayashri's statement claiming Kumaraswamy is unfit to be the chief minister.

In this regard, the complaint was filed and DGP Neelamani Raju has been requested to take legal action under IPC sections 504 and  509 after probe.
