Kodagu floods: Army personnel search for missing man after wife pleads with authorities

Fifteen Dogra regiment army have launched search operations to find a man in Kodagu district after his wife pleaded with authorities. Uthappa, 62, is missing since August 16 when his house collapsed due to landslide and heavy rains. He was alone in the house while his wife and children were away. He is assumed dead by his family. Kodagu district has been battered by heavy rainfall and floods. Army and other agencies have been involved in rescue operations.
