After Kerala and Kodagu, heavy rain batters Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (Video)

M Mahender Reddy , IPS, DGP of Telangana has instructed all the commissioners/district SPs to be alert, be proactive and take all necessary measures in coordination with the officials of revenue , irrigation, fire services, NDRF, swimmers and boatsmen in the local communities, to prevent loss of  life, predominantly in the areas where vulnerability is high. With heavy rainfall predicted in north Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh, the two States have already received over 100 mm of rain and both the States are looking at a flood situation.
