Kerala-Kodagu floods: 108 types of sweets offered at Karnataka temple

Moved by the sufferings of Kerala and Kodagu due to severe floods, a temple priest in Mulbagal, Karnataka, is performing special poojas to ward off the curse of the "Rain God". The priest Thippeswamy believes that Goddess Adiparashakti's anger should be cooled off by offering 108 types of sweets, special abhishekam and feeding over 10,000 devotees.
