Indian Coast Guard asks fishermen to return to nearest harbour (Video)

Kochi: The Indian Coast Guard has warned the fishermen to return to the nearest harbour after the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy rains and cyclone. Indian Coast Guard also informed the fishermen through VHF sets to return to the coast. Five Coast Guard ships and aircraft have been deployed to advise fishermen at sea to return to harbour. Advisory in local languages were relayed to Kerala and Tamil Nadu registered boats operating off Lakshadweep and adjoining areas.
