Kerala government employees to get paid leave for January nationwide strike

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has decided to grant pay to government employees who took part in the nationwide strike on January 8 and 9. 

The general administration secretary has issued this order to grant emergency leave for government employees and other staff who were on leave during the strike. 

On January 8 and 9, trade unions all over India went on a nationwide strike against the anti-worker policies of the Central government.
