As Kerala flood waters recede, students go back to schools of which 243 remain shut (Video)

Schools and other educational institutions in flood-affected Kerala are opened after the Onam vacation. Many students have lost their textbooks and uniforms. Education department and other authorities have promised that they will free books and uniforms to children. 243 schools remain shut in Kerala which are damaged or which aren't ready for functioning. Education department believes within two weeks the schools will come as it was earlier.
