Kerala double murder: Congress used Sarath for criminal activities, accuses former CPM MLA Kunhiraman

Kasaragod: Former CPI(M) MLA KV Kunhiraman has accused the Congress of using Sarath Lal for criminal activities. Sarath and Kripesh were murdered on February 17. “Kalliyode is a place with Congress workers of criminal mentality. They are quite determined to deny any other political party a chance to work there. Sarath was a criminal involved in many cases, led many attacks, and openly destroyed many campaign boards of CPI(M). Congress protected him for doing criminal activities” he said.

Kunhiraman alleged that Sarath had attacked former CPI(M) member Peethambaran and had been arrested in four criminal cases. Kunhiraman repeated that the CPM did not have any knowledge or role in the murder. Peethambaran was recently arrested for the murder of Sarath and Kripesh.
