Kerala Congress leader among 13 booked for financial irregularities in Agro Cooperative

Kannur: The Kerala government directed the police to register a case against 13 people including Congress MP MK Raghavan over financial irregularities in Agro Cooperative in Kannur. The case was registered against them after the society had a liability of Rs 77 crore during their tenure. Raghavan served as  president of Agro Co-operative in 2002. He served the post till 2013. 

The financial liability came into the limelight after the former managing director Baiju Radhakrishnan raised concerns over the issue. Responding to the case, Raghavan told media that this case was politically motivated in the background of Lok Sabha election.
