Srinagar: In a twist of fate, a teen actor turned terrorist along with another local and a terrorist from Pakistan were killed in an encounter in Srinagar last week.
The encounter occurred in South Kashmir's Bandipora district and 17-year-old theatre actor Saqib Bilal was also among the three neutralised by Indian Army. Hailing from Hajin, Bilal had played a short role in Shahid Kapoor starrer, Haider.
The other local killed in the encounter was also a juvenile from Hajin and had joined terror outfit along with Bilal just a few days ago. Their recruiter Ali Bhai from Pakistan, associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, was also killed.
A bright student Bilal passed his class 10th examination with 79% and was also a theatre artist.
