Kasaragod double murder: Congess protests against CPM leaders' visit to vandalised houses of accused

Kasaragod: Massive protest erupted in Kallyot village as CPM workers came to visit vandalised houses of the alleged accused in the murders.

As a sign of protest over the double murder of Youth Congress workers in Kasaragod in Kerala the Youth Congress workers and natives of Kallyot staged the protest.

CPM leaders including MP Karunakaran, former MLA KV Kunhiraman and MLA K Kunjiraman arrived in Kasaragod to visit the vandalised houses and party office.

Meanwhile, police blocked Congress activists who raised slogans towards the CPM leaders. Sarath Lal and Kripesh, the two Youth Congress workers, were hacked to death in conflict with CPM at Kallyot on February 17.
