Karnataka: Udupi canteen owner celebrates PM Modi's birthday in unique way

While the nation celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17, this canteen owner in Udupi, Karnataka, gave his own spin to the celebrations. Lakshman Kunder, owner of Shri Sannidhi canteen, cut a cake on PM Modi's birthday. He also cooked 15 kgs of pulao and prepared 15 litres of tea and distributed them for free. The poor canteen owner has been saving up to celebrate Narendra Modi's birthday and has been doing so every year for the past four years.
