Karnataka: Students forced to construct government school compound wall

 In an unfortunate case of child labour, schoolchildren from the Koppal district of Karnataka were seen carrying out work to build a government school’s compound wall. The children, who belong to the elementary division of the government school in Vanageri, were made to do the job to avoid the expenditure of extra labour wages if other workers were employed. The locals expressed their anger at the school authorities' callous attitude.
