Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah is back from 12-day Europe tour. There were allegations of HD Kumaraswamy-led Congress-JD(S) alliance government in trouble with reports of many MLAs being disappointed. But soon after Siddaramaiah returned from the tour, he has promised the high command that he'd solve all the differences of opinion inside the party. The second assurance is that the problem allegedly created by the powerful Jarkiholi brothers (Satish and Ramesh Jarkiholi of Belagavi) will be solved and both will be prevented from joining the BJP. The third assurance is that the final decision on Cabinet expansion, appointments to various boards will be taken by September 25. Another important promise is to select candidates for Council elections after holding discussions with JD(S) while ensuring there are no rebel factors emerging as a result of this selection.
