Karnataka police accused of extorting Rs 5 lakhs from Army jawan

A day after Independence Day celebration, Army jawan's video accusing Karnataka police of allegedly extorting Rs 5 lakhs for the return of his ID card that was seized is going viral. Jawan Murthy's contention is that Periyapatna police are harassing him for no reason. He also said that the police illegally detained him and while taking him from his home, the police allegedly molested his sisters.
