Bengaluru: Karnataka home minister MB Patil has accepted that Congress MLA Anand Singh was "heinously attacked". Earlier, it was thought to be a minor fight between two friends, he said. "But when we went to the hospital, we realised that he was brutally attacked," he said.  Patil also said that the party will not interfere in the investigation and that MLA Ganesh (the accused) would be arrested soon. Reacting to the same, BJP spokesperson S Prakash alleged that the lies of Congress have been exposed as the party had earlier said that it was a friendly scuffle between two friends. He demanded that Congress makes sure Ganesh is arrested.
