Karnataka minister's staffer caught with Rs 14.5 lakh cash in Vidhana Soudha

Bengaluru: The Vidhana Soudha Police arrested a man on Friday at the Vidhana Soudha parking area and found Rs 14.5 lakh unaccounted-for cash. The man has been identified as Mohan, who worked in the backward classes welfare minister Puttaranga Shetty’s office in the Karnataka state secretariat - Vidhana Soudha.

The man was exiting the premises when the police detained him.  He was taken to the Vidhana Soudha police station and questioned about the source of the money. But, Mohan was unable to provide a satisfying answer.
