Man along with lover assaults mother; police hesitate to file complaint

Gadag: A man, along with his girlfriend, beat up his mother as she questioned the girl's stay in the house. The incident occurred at SM Krishna Colony in Gadag, Karnataka. Siddalingayya Nagavimutt, along with his girlfriend Sudha, assaulted Prema and they have broken her leg. She is said to have said no to Sudha's stay in the house. Prema is currently being treated at Gadag government hospital. It’s four days after the incident and the police are said to have not filed any complaint in this regard yet.
