Tipu Jayanti: Karnataka government ensures tight security in Kodagu ahead of celebration

Madikeri: Kodagu, a hill town of Madikeri has been dealing with consistent turmoil every November since 2015 after former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah announced that the state would celebrate the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan. According to reports, chief minister HD Kumaraswamy, who earlier opposed Tipu Jayanti, recently waved a green flag to commemorate the occasion. And now, will not be attending the celebration.
