Despite Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s promise to waive off farmer's loan, Mandya district's SBI bank sends a notice to a farmer to repay the loan amount.
Jaware Gowda received a legal notice from Mandya district's SBI bank in Karnataka to repay the loan amount. The farmer had taken a loan of Rs 1,30,000 in 2009. Earlier, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy had promised to waive off farmer's loan. Now, the bank has sent a legal notice to Jaware Gowda through the court.
