Karnataka Congress MLA Sangameshwar abuses, threatens forest officer over phone

Shivamogga: Bhadravathi Congress MLA BK Sangameshwar was caught on camera ordering a Karnataka forest official over phone, not to interfere in the construction of Lord Subramanya temple inside Attigunda forest in Shivamogga district. He was also seen abusing a forest officer and even threatening him over phone. He said that his men would chop the officer's hands and legs and of those coming in the way.

The incident took place on December 31, and the video of him threatening the forest official went viral only on Saturday (January 5). In the video, Sangameshwar takes a dig at the deputy range forest officer Dinesh and also used abusive words against him for obstructing the construction of a temple in a forest area.
