Karnataka by-election: Voters welcomed with kumkum, tilak in Jamkhandi polling booth (Video)

Jamakhandi: In a new initiative to make people feel welcomed, the Election Commission made a special arrangement at one of the polling booths in Jamakhandi, where by-election is being conducted for Karnataka Assembly constituency. At the polling booths 97 and 98, set up at government higher primary school, Naganur Taluk in Jamakhandi, voters were welcomed by women with a tray of kumkum. Voters smiled and entered the booth as they received a special welcome sporting the tilaks. Even the polling booth was decorated with mango leaves and flowers. Congress's Anand Nyamagouda is contesting against BJP's Srikanth Kulkarni in Jamakhandi.
