Kumaraswamy struggles to ensure support of disgruntled MLAs

Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy will present the Karnataka Budget at 12:32 PM on Friday. Meanwhile, Kumaraswamy removed dissenting Congress MLA Umesh Jadhav from the post of the chairman of the Warehouse Corporation. Congress MLA Pratap Gouda Patil has replaced Jadhav.

Congress MLC from Hassan MA Gopalaswamy has been appointed as Parliamentary secretary to water resources minister DK Shivakumar. Maski MLA Pratap Gouda Patil has been appointed as the chairman of Warehouse Corporation. Raichur Rural MLA Basanagoud Daddal has been appointed as chief of Maharishi Valmiki ST Welfare Board.

All three legislators were dissatisfied over not being given cabinet-rank positions. 

However, sources say that efforts to have convince Jadhav may have turned futile.
