Karnataka: Bengaluru hospital performs unique transplant on Yemeni national, earns praises worldwide

Bengaluru's Sakra World Hospital has recently launched Sakra Sports Injury Centre and it successfully performed the first meniscal transplant in Karnataka. A 43-year-old Yemeni man, Ramea Abdulfateh, who had injured a ligament two years ago while playing football, was successfully treated of meniscus. Less than three cases have been successfully done so far in India. Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri inaugurated Sakra Sports Injury Centre.
