Karnataka: Bengaluru cop opens fire at chain snatcher in self-defence (Video)

In Bengaluru’s Banaswadi area, three chain snatchers threatened a man with knives and tried to rob him. However, the victim managed to escape. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Next day, the police received information that one of chain snatchers was near Banaswadi fire station. The cops reached the spot and when they tried to arrest him, he attacked Sub Inspector Sharath with sharp weapons. The police officer opened fire at him in self-defence. The man, identified as Suhail alias Papaya, was injured and later he was admitted to Bowring Hospital.
