Ananth Kumar serious, not to contest in 2019 general election, will field wife (Video)

Bengaluru: Union minister for parliamentary affairs HN Ananth Kumar, who was undergoing treatment in London, came down to Bengaluru a few days ago and he continues to be in a serious condition, according to sources in the BJP. The chemicals and fertilisers minister is currently undergoing treatment at a cancer hospital in the city. On October 29, Union health minister JP Nadda visited Ananth Kumar, who has represented the Bengaluru south parliamentary constituency six times since 1996. Ananth Kumar may not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election owing to his declining health. His wife Tejaswini may contest from the constituency in Bengaluru.
