Kamal Haasan: Will contest alone, serve people better with clean hands

Chennai: Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan has confirmed that his party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) would contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections independently. 

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan clarified that his party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) would not work with an alliance with any other party and they are trying to change Tamil Nadu's DNA. He was speaking to the reporters at the Chennai airport on Thursday on February 7.

Haasan also told media, “We have decided to contest alone in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. We want to serve people better with clean hands.”
