Independence Day special: Freedom fighters from south India rarely remembered

Every year on August 15, we endlessly talk about the struggle that freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, etc, went through to see India, free. Even the politicians keep them alive in their speeches, but no one recalls the freedom fighters from the south, who triumphed and hugely contributed to stitching the Independence. This Independence Day, let us pay a tribute to them.
