Hoisted from ceiling fan, 12-year-old beaten with belt and slippers

Video of a 12-year-old child being beaten up with belt and slippers has surfaced. The incident is from inside a factory in the Loni area of Ghaziabad. He was hoisted from a ceiling fan and brutally beaten by belts and slippers even as he begged for mercy. Some unidentified people took him along under the pretext of working in a factory. After which they thrashed him. While the reason for the beating is still unclear, prima facie appears to be over a mobile phone. The police have registered an FIR.
