The Vice Chancellor was reinstated to his position after receiving a stay order from the High Court.
The students of Hidyatullah National Law University, in Chattisgarh, have begun to stage a hunger strike, starting today, October 1, asking for the removal of the Vice Chancellor, Sukpal Singh, who has turned a blind eye to all the students' needs. Singh however, clarified saying, the genuine issues raised by the students have been addressed, without specifying which issue was taken care of and how.
