Heavy rains in Pithoragarh: Bridge connecting Bageshwar breaks

Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand has been experiencing heavy rains. Heavy downpouring on Tuesday night have crippled the area. Ramganga river, which is usually quiet, is creating a flood like situation. The bridge connecting Bageshwar has broken due to heavy rains. Due to the intense drift, a JCB and a car were destroyed in Ramganga. People living along the banks of Ramganga are being transported to safer places. Heavy rains also took place in Dehradun. In many places, the roads were submerged in water.
