Harison and Shahana allegedly recieve death threat from SDPI

Harison and Shahana, who did a Facebook live on 18 July alleging death threats from SDPI for getting into an inter-caste marriage, appeared at Attingal police station on 19 July. They produced the documents of their marriage before the police. Attingal native Harison Haris and Kannur Valapattanam native Shahana got married on 17 July. The police officials took Harison to the Attingal court, as his father has filed a complaint saying he was missing. After Shahana’s mother had also lodged a missing complaint on her, she was taken to Kannur as well. Meanwhile, SDPI asserted that SDPI activists never issued a death threat to them.
