In a sudden turn of events at Karnataka's Ballari, the villagers of Haraginadoni boycotted the by election as they complained that the government failed to provide drinking water facility. Even after Ballari district commissioner Ramprasat Manohar tried to convince voters to participate in the election process, the villagers simply refused.
