A complaint was filed against actor/writer Girish Karnad by an advocate for wearing a placard that read 'Me Too Urban Naxal' on Gauri Lankesh's death anniversary. Advocate Amrutesh said Girish Karnad has accepted that he is a naxal and police should take action against him since naxalism is banned in the country.
A complaint has been filed against veteran actor/writer Girish Karnad for wearing a placard that read 'Me Too Urban Naxal' at a commemorative meeting marking the first death anniversary of slain journalist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru. The complaint was filed by lawyer Amrutesh. He said Girish Karnad has accepted that he is a naxal and police should take action against him since naxalism is banned in the country.
