Gauri Lankesh murder case: Another arrest made, Karnataka Home Minister calls it ‘big development’

Karnataka police have arrested one more person in connection with the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh. With the arrest of Mohan Naik from Sullia, the total number of persons held so far is eight. Dr G Parameshwara, Home Minister of Karnataka called it a “big development” and expressed hope that the case will be solved soon. He also said that Mohan’s arrest is a feather in the cap of Karnataka police. Parameshwara also said that with this the murder cases of rationalists and activists Govind Pansare, MM Kalburgi also might get solved as these cases have been termed similar to Gauri's case.
