Bengaluru students injured after elevator crashes in apartment

Bengaluru: Four girls were severely injured in Bengaluru after the elevator at Silver Nest apartments located in MM Road, Pulikeshi Nagar came crashing down from the third floor. The four students from Hyderabad were interning in Bengaluru and were temporarily staying at Silver Nest apartment.

On the fateful day, they returned to the apartment and got into the lift. The elevator stopped at the third floor and a boy named Krishna Kalyan got out and turned back to see that the lift cable snapped and crashed down to the ground floor. The four girls were immediately admitted to the hospital, where they have undergone multiple surgeries. The doctor expressed hope that they will return to their normal duties after a while. However, so far the apartment owner has not responded to the tragedy.
