Does Karnataka CM Kamaraswamy's brother want to deprive nation's soldiers of quality milk?

HD Revanna, public works minister and Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy's elder brother, has allegedly prepared a proposal to have the Kolar Milk Union Supply Limited (KOMUL) provide only half the amount of milk it used to for the consumption of the soldiers posted at the nation's borders.

KOMUL was selected by the authorities to send milk in tetra packs to soldiers in the border area, based on the quality check of the milk. KOMUL sends 60 lakh litre milk to the soldiers.

However, minister Revanna wants KOMUL to send only 30 lakh litre of milk and Hassan Co-operative Milk Producers' Societies Union Limited to send the rest to the soldiers.

This has enraged the people and farmers of Kolar and Chikkaballapur, who burnt an effigy of Revanna. Watch the video
