Bengaluru: A day after being dropped from HD Kumaraswamy cabinet, Belagavi strongman Ramesh L Jarkiholi on Sunday threatened to quit the party. Jarkiholi said that there are other legislators, who are in touch with him and said that he wouldn't disclose the number now. Apart from Jarkiholi, Mahesh Kamatalli, Athani MLA, Srimanth Patil from Kagawad, Pratap Gowda Patil, BC Patil, Hirekerur MLA, Bheema Naik, HB Halli MLA, Umesh Jadhav from Chincholi, B Nagendra, Kudalgi MLA, and Anand Singh from Vijayanagar may follow in the footsteps of Jarkiholi. Apart from these, Congress MLC Vivekrao Patil may also quit in support of Jarkiholi. While Karnataka's deputy chief minister G Parameshwara said that all efforts are on to address the needs of every disgruntled MLA, BJP distanced itself from the issue.
