Sterlite plant that is facing closure due to various environmental issues, has distributed relief material worth Rs 25 lakh to victims of Cyclone Gaja in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
The Sterlite plant owners and staff have distributed materials worth Rs 25 lakh towards relief material for people affected by Cylone Gaja in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The plant is said to be helping in renovation and reconstruction of damaged properties. Thus, two earth movers, torches, bedsheets, napkins and Rs 10 lakh in cash has been distributed by the Sterlite Plant in Thoothukudi, said Danvel from Sterlite.
