Kolkata: The Congress may have said no to bans on The Accidental Prime Minister, but party cadres have wreaked havoc in many parts of the nation on Friday.
A screening of the movie at a popular theatre in Kolkata had to be cancelled because of protests held by the Congress youth wing. The police had to be called in because of law and order disruptions in the city. The protesters not only shouted anti-Modi slogans in front of the theatre, but they also burnt the Prime Minister’s effigy to express their angst against the movie.
