Chennai student expresses gratitude to police commissioner for suspending accused cop

 Chennai college student thanked the city police commissioner for sincerely backing him. He expressed his earnest gratitude by visiting the commissioner's house with his family and friends on the occasion of Eid. The student was brutally attacked by a cop, SI Illayaraja, during vehicle checking on June 20. The commissioner, AK Viswanath not only sincerely enquired about the student's health but also suspended the accused with immediate effect.
