BJP says ‘fake audio': Kumaraswamy says there should be investigation

Bengaluru: A day following the Budget, chief minister Kumaraswamy spoke once again, about the audio clip that was released on February 8. Kumarswamy, surprisingly said that Yeddyurappa was right in asking that there should be a probe in this case.

Kumaraswamy said that it wasn’t him who stated that Yeddyurappa was involved, but Yeddyurappa’s name along with many others like speaker Ramesh Kumar, Amit Shah, Prime Minister Modi and officials of the high court and Supreme Court were mentioned in the audio clip. He said that this was an attempt to strangulate democracy and such attempts should be brought under check.
