BJP MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar slammed Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy for misusing public money to hand out expensive gifts to elected representatives.

"You (Kumaraswamy) claim austerity, Pourakarmikas (corporation workers) are being denied salaries, but public money is being used for these kinds of expensive gifts?", Rajeev Chandrasekhar tweeted with pictures of iPhone X and “Moochies” bag.

JD(S) spokesperson Tanveer Ahmed hit back at Rajeev Chandrasekhar's comments.
