Bharat bandh: Davanagere, Koppal in Karnataka see buses and shops function as usual

Koppal/Davanagere: Despite the Bharath Bandh, Koppal and Davanagere districts in Karnataka seemed to be busy as usual. Buses plying within Koppal and to distant places were seen on the roads as usual. In Davanagere, though public transport came to a halt, private buses ran through the roads of the city. Even autorickshaws ran without any problems. Hotels remained open in Davanagere, but as precautionary measure, schools and colleges declared a holiday.
