Bengaluru: Transgenders, disabled persons, HIV patients special invitees of Independence Day

This August 15, Bengaluru Administration has organised special arrangements to make this year's Independence day celebration a unique. People from the transgender community, disabled persons and HIV patients will be among special invitees. They will be made to sit and watch the celebration at Manekshaw Parade Ground along with other dignitaries. To ensure this year's celebration goes peacefully, the police department will deploy 1,500 personnel.
