Over 2 lakh and goats and sheep in stock for Bakrid
With Bengaluru city topping the list with over 15 lakh Muslim population, goat and sheep farmers are hoping to make a killing this Bakrid, which falls on August 22. According to Animal Husbandry department of Bengaluru Municipal Administration, over 2 lakh goats and sheep are set for slaughtering. The farmers from across the state are heading towards Bengaluru with their flock and are camping in Chamrajpet, Tannery Road, Jayamahal Road Jayanagar, Bannarhhatta Road, Varthur, etc.
